Matching Overs AssignmentA pair of confused stormtroopers conspire against the Sith Lord, Kylo Ren, whom they believe is a SCAM. But, things quickly get out of hand...
From this assignment, I learned how to effectively color correct , and set up different lighting configurations to compliment the mood of each scene. Working out the best angles to shoot from was a struggle at first (for continuity). To solve this, we reminded ourselves what we were wearing the day before, and how we were sitting / hand motions, in order to make the transitions between our three shot types as seamless as possible. |

Many Shots AssignmentWell renowned journalist Wade Van Kneekirkable embarks on a quest to find the glorious backpack of Taheete. But he's not the only one...
From this assignment, our group learned how to stabilize our shots using a tripod, manage our time wisely, and how to speed or slow the tempo of a scene based on how quickly the camera cut from one shot to the next. Our biggest struggle when filming this video was gathering enough shots to make the story flow properly (we did not want to have any plot holes). In order to combat this, we were very careful to storyboard and plan out our shots beforehand, to be sure they flowed well. |

Avatar, The Way of WaterIn this live review, The film divers review the widely popular Avatar movie series - In particular, Avatar, the Way of water.
From this live shoot, our group learned to collaborate with one another, and communicate well to avoid any confusion. With that said, one struggle we had was getting the animations play properly (as sometimes they would be delayed by a few seconds, or not transition as intended). Despite this, our group persevered through the shoot, and reshot once. |
